Specifications

Emulderz (Hot Applied Joint Filler)

DESCRIPTION

it is an elastomeric bitumen based hot applied joint filler especially used for filing joint gaps at concrete and asphalt areas.

USAGE AREA

It is used at dilatations, joints,

at the intersections of cement coatings with wide surfaces,

in dams, channels and ducts,

at other locations where any dilatation may occur. It is used for waterproofing, filling, repair, and adherence.

It is used for installing road buttons onto asphalt.

ADVANTAGES

It is very elastic.

It is heated up either in a special double walled boiler or directly on a furnace.

APPLICATION

Emulderz is heated up to approximately 160°C, mixed thoroughly and poured into joint gaps. No. 4 sand is spread over the areas exposed to traffic. The surface treated will be ready to use after approximately 1 hour. If the product is overheated, that is up to temperatures over 180 °C or if it is heated up and cooled back for a few times it will be spoiled and cannot be recovered.
